please enjoy good meals and hot spring.

ENJOY POINT

Jigoku, the largest of Beppu’s hells, is cobalt blue in color and is so beautiful that it is hardly called a hell. The blue color of the pond is due to dissolved iron sulfate, a component in the hot springs. Inside the park, we use the heat from the hot springs to grow giant water lilies and tropical water lilies, which are native to the Amazon region. The flowering period for giant water lilies and tropical water lilies is from early May to late November, and the best time to see them is in the morning.
The Aso Volcano Museum offers a great insight into Japanese volcanoes and is a top choice for geography enthusiasts. Located in Kusasenri with a view of the often smoking Nakadake crater, visitors can also watch what’s going on with the live video cameras, which take you deep into the crater. On the third floor, you can watch films on topics such as ‘Exploring the Secrets of the Eruption’ and ‘Life and Culture in Aso’.
Despite the damage it suffered in the 2016 earthquakes, Kumamoto Castle remains the top tourist attraction in the city and welcomes many visitors every year. With its imposing black exterior and steep ramparts, the castle was particularly difficult to break into and was designed specifically to discourage enemies from attacking.
Oura Church is the oldest existing gothic-style church in Japan, and it was built for foreign people in old settlement. Underground Christians of Urakami visited here in March 1865 and made a confession of faith. This is what is called “discovery of Christians in Nagasaki”.

The road leading to the shrine is lined with shops offering umegae mochi, the locally loved rice cakes filled with sweet red bean paste. There are also a number of ice cream stands selling flavors that are entirely unique to Japan, such as green tea, black sesame, and kinako (sweet soybean), along with countless shops for buying souvenirs and knick-knacks.The main hall, or Honden, of Dazaifu Tenmangu is built over the grave of Michizane Sugawara, a scholar, politician and poet who rose to great prominence during the 9th century before being exiled to Dazaifu due to a fierce rivalry with the Fujiwara clan. He died in Dazaifu in 903, and it is thought that the earliest iteration of Dazaifu Tenmangu (the inner courtyard) was built in 913.
