Himeji Castle is one of only twelve castles in Japan whose main keep remains as it was and it was listed as a National Treasure.Himeji Castle was designated as World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993.Because of Himeji Castle’s elegant and white appearance, it is called “Shirasagi Jo” , which translates white heron castle.
ITUKUSHIMA SHRINE is vary beautiful. Miyajima is an island in the Seto Inland Sea, off the coast of Hiroshima Prefecture . It is one of the three most scenic spots in Japan, and the World Heritage Site of Itsukushima Shrine shines brightly amid its beautiful scenery. Dedicated to the deity who protects from maritime disaster and war, the shrine was reportedly built in 593. When it was rebuilt in 1168 by the Heian-period warlord Taira no Kiyomori (1118-1181), it was expanded into the magnificent vermilion-lacquered shrine pavilions seen today.
The Dotonbori district sits beside a 400-year-old canal. The bridge over the canal is a popular place to take your photo (look out for the Glico Man; the enormous runner towers over Ebisubashi Bridge and is a famous Osaka landmark).Almost a mile long, Shinsaibashi arcade stretches from Shinsaibaishi station to Dotonbori and is one of the busiest and oldest shopping streets in Japan. There are shops to suit every budget and tastes from high fashion to traditional crafts. Add on a limitless selection of cafes and restaurants, and you’ll be lucky to emerge before nightfall.
